People at GSO

Students

Our students are, of course, at the heart of everything we do! Around 1,350 students attend GSO.

The student council represents all students at GSO. It meets regularly and is elected annually. It is made up of the elected class and course representatives. However, our students also have the opportunity to take an active part in the student council without holding an official position.

Teaching staff

Our teaching staff work in multi-professional teams and see themselves as learning facilitators. We give all students the opportunity to learn successfully. We understand learning as a comprehensive development process that also includes personal and social aspects.

All staff members can be contacted via our administration: 502@schulverwaltung.bremen.de or by phone on 0421 / 361 5645. There you can obtain the staff members’ email addresses or phone numbers.

Year group leaders

In lower secondary, our year group leaders each oversee a year group continuously from Year 5 to Year 10. They coordinate teaching projects, excursions, cooperation with our external partners, class trips, chair report conferences, and much more!

School leadership team

Our school leadership members see themselves as a team! For both staff and our students, we provide a safe framework and create the conditions for a strong shared place of learning. Reliable planning and organisation, transparency, participation, and well-being are at the heart of our day-to-day work.

You can reach us via our administration 502@schulverwaltung.bremen.de and by phone on 0421/361 5645
