Located in the heart of the Osterholz-Tenever district, we are one of Bremen’s largest schools, with nearly 1,400 students and more than 200 staff members. We are a secondary school with an upper secondary level leading to the Abitur, which means we can support children and young people from Year 5 through to the Abitur. We see ourselves in the tradition of a comprehensive school and as an education and cultural centre. In a district with 88 different cultures, we place great value on diversity, tolerance and democratic values. We do not only address teaching-related topics; we support our students, help and comfort them, laugh and celebrate, work and live together.
Our strong team brings together many professions: 150 teachers, special education teachers, school social workers, classroom support staff, the caretaker team, the canteen team and—serving as an important hub for all matters—our administration work hand in hand with the school leadership to ensure that this large school runs smoothly and successfully.
